guinea pig Cookies/ Cakes/ pancakes!

I was making Pancakes this morning and though would I be able to make guinea pig safe ones? So I went online and searched some stuff that guinea pigs can have and I got a recipe! So you for two guinea pigs and to each you need about a quarter cup of oats. next you get some carrots and chop them into as small little pieces as you can and then get some veggie of your choice and put in for flavor! Then you should mix that in about 3 table spoons of water and then take out and shape and let dry and there you go! Enjoy and please don't eat them your self! Bye!

D.I.Y Toys And Treats

Hey guys! Sorry that it has been so long since I did a post. The school year started and I had a lot to do. Anyways so I will do a title for each D.I.Y I will post. Tent So first you need some fabric and popcicle sticks. Next take two popcicle sticks and put glue on one end of one of them and then glue them together to make a longer one. do this 9 times. once they have dried you will take 4 of them and glue them into a square. Once that has dried take 2 more and set one on each side like top left and bottom left first and glue them to the frame and the tips together. do on other side. then once that has all dried put the fabric on top and glue and you have your tent! Food Teaser Toy First you will need a toilet paper tube without toilet paper on it. And also some scissors. cute the tube into as many centimeter pieces as you can but not square pieces but like fold the tube in half mark each centimeter with a marker and then cut centimeter thick circles of the toilet paper tub...

Bath Time And Cage Cleaning

To give a guinea pig a bath a tub is not good but a good sized plastic box with no holes in great! I recommend to not have the water hot or cold but warm not to hot though. So first fill your chosen container with just a inch or so of water. then put in your guinea pig. get them wet be careful around the face and ears to not get it in there eyes or ears. When they are wet get about a coin size or penny size squirt of baby shampoo or guinea pig shampoo for a male use grease cleaner for there grease glands also. Then get the shampoo in there fur and rinse it out carefully. Then if you have a long haired take a very small like doll brush and brush their hair carefully. Now towel dry I use this time to do some taming by holding them and showing them its ok to be held. And finally let them air dry when they are still just a little moist. CAGE CLEANING   BEDDING         So I will do different paragraphs for fleece cage cleaning and bedding cage cleaning. So for be...

Places To Get Stuff For Your Guinea Pigs

Hi guys second post here we go! I want to tell you places to go when you have the money to buy stuff for your Guinea pigs! So for hay go to a local farm that sells nice green hay. Green hay is healthy and better for your pet. And for food go to a breeder they may give food. And for stuff like a cage go to Guinea pig cages.com and they sell cages and stuff for cages like hay racks or stuff to make your own cage! And go to a pet store for the little things those places didn't have! I also recommend you to try to find a breeder with guinea pigs you can adopt before going to the pet store. I would like to say that guinea pigs are a big thing to take care of even though their small! They are very costly and hard to take care of so be prepared before you get your pet! Hope this blog helps you and you find all you need before you get your pet! Bye!

Information you may need before you get a guinea pig

Hi this is my first post! I'm doing this to pass the time before I get my guinea pigs! I learned some facts that I want to share with you! So the first one is never buy 1 guinea pig unless you have one at home you are going to bond it with. And 2 is never leave them unattended outside of their cage but they still need time with you on the floor. 3 its best to make your own cage ones from a pet store are too small and very costly for you I recommend to go to guinea pig cages store.com and find there c and c grids they are really cheap they are $ 1.79! 4. Use a fabric that is not rough and does not have a loopy  string texture but no quilting fabric too! Or  you can use substrate or bedding they are the same thing but I really recommend for you to get Care Fresh for bedding or substrate. And finally 5 if your cage has no bottom and its  on the floor use puppy potty pads under your bedding or substrate or fabric! Hope this first post helped you a little more to get the infor...
